Great park with much to offer!! Right on the Pax River! Hiking trails are good !! Swimming pool rocks albeit the shallow end is a bit deep so bring water wings for your younger kids!! Great staff!!

My favorite summer resort! Clean, beautiful setting, and affordable for everyone. If you don't like the chaos and high outrageous cost of the local water park, this is the place to go.

Great pool, nice and clean. Defo have to arrive early If you want a chair as they fill up pretty quickly! They have ice cream and candy for sale too!

This place a few years ago was really family friendly place but idk what happened to it. Went a couple of times this week and was very disappointed in the staff that works here. We called to see if they were open and they were. This was about 5:00 when we called and said they were open to 7:45. We arrived 25 mins later but soon as we tried to pay the lady says sorry it's only cash. Doesn't say that on your website, and also on the website the times it's open and closed are different. Obviously there not updating it according. Thank god I had some cash in the car so we could swim for an hour or hour 1/2 at the most. There was only about 3 other ppl in the pool at the time. So soon as we all get in they blow the whistle for a rest period. I kid you not we hadn't been in the water 2 mins. Geez u couldn't tell us that soon as we got here. I might also add in that soon as my daughter jumped in the lifeguard came over and said you can't dive off the side. We immediately spoke up and said she didn't dive, she jumped in feet first. The life guard then said she was sorry and she actually didn't see her??? Then why say something? Also another time we went earlier in the week, my daughter who is just learning how to swim, she's (8) went off the slide while I waited for her. She can get to the sides with no problem but I was there just to not take any chances, as I'm helping my daughter to the side the guard decides to grab my daughters other arm and help us. We told her we were fine. Guess she was bored idk. But then she said you might wanna give ur daughter a break. As if there was a problem or something. Idk seems like this place needs new lifeguards or replace the couple that take there job way to seriously. Or maybe give them some new training. And it's 2019 for the love of GOD get a machine that takes debit or credit cards. Very disappointed. Maybe next year if I decide to come back there will be new life guards put into place or the petty ones will be gone. I could name several other reasons as well but I'm not going to list everything like how you can't even use the locker rooms because there was so many damn bees. Smh ud83eudd26‍♂ufe0f

Not infant/toddler friendly. Small. Pool seems to be more suitable for adults to enjoy.
