Very good and the service is attentive. It's a quiet night but I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Conveniently a stone's throw from the holiday inn too!

El Potro has great Mexican food, both in variety and flavor. The menu items we had tasted as good as they sounded. The meats were well seasoned, and the fresh vegetables were crisp and well presented. Their specialty items were unique and the people at our table found them delicious. The service was excellent. All-in-all a great experience.

AMAZING!!!! If you are a native or traveling to Opelousas , you NEED to stop here!!!! Knocks ALL the other Mexican restaurants in this town out the WATER! I state my life on this place! So authentic! Mouthwatering Mexican food that’s SO hard to find, since I am a native of Texas!! It’s perfect! And close to home! The service is great. Salsa good. But the other food we got was average.
