Well, I’m an 8th grader here at LMS, and I think although the kids are kinda mean and don’t really listen to the teachers, the school itself, including the teachers and staff, are great and care a lot about the students, because they wouldn’t be here if they didn’t. I’ve had some of the best teachers here, and I can tell you that they’ve been through a lot and are still here because they care. Not all the students are mean either, most are nice, but some are just undisciplined, which isn’t Lafayette Middle’s fault. I’m a proud lion and I don’t care what anyone has to say about LMS, because I think we rule!
Because I have 3 children who does there and they love it. They do fun things to make them happy
As a student of LMS for 2 years now I can say without a seed of doubt that Lafayette Middle School is the WORST middle school in Louisiana (Excluding New Orleans) There are fights everyday and Intense Bullying that They Don't do anything about Trust Me I Know. I Don't Even know why I still go here... 1 Star
I went there in the 6th and 7th grades many, many years ago. It was a true haven of learning, with caring teachers and many enrichment programs. Years later I remember it fondly. .. except for Coach Campbell and his dreaded wooden paddle; although he too made a lasting impression (one impression generally being enough)
The school is not bad I am now a 8th grader and in still going to lms the staff are good and the cafeteria food taste like all school food. The students are a little mean but once they warm up too u they are nice.
