This place was nice to visit while I was on vacation, and only cost $5 to utilize the facility (which has towels and a small locker room). They have all the equipment you could basically need for a vacation workout, and the owner is friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place over any of the others in the region you might be considering. Has drinking fountain and upstairs Cardio area. Might get fairly hot in the Summertime.
Was in Leavenworth for few days, looked for a local gym this was the place to go, it is old school style but still enough to get the work done, i was able to do my 405lbs benchpress and squats, they have dumbbells that's goes all the way to 105lbs, also has towels, owner is really nice, also $5 a day pass was pretty nice.
Great gym at a better price
Jake, the owner, is hard working, lovable guy, and I'm sure he tries his best to keep the gym in shape, but it needs some serious updating. Only new equipment I've seen is a more modern leg press, and that was added quite some time ago. It doesn't seem to me that Jake is reinvesting his profits back into the business. This is just my opinion, but the main gym room always feels cramped if multiple people are using the equipment. Although I know its not this simple, knocking down a wall or two, making the main rooms a little more open and spacing out the equipment would make a hell of a difference.
Great variety of equipment, cardio machines, racquetball courts, full locker rooms, and friendly people! Great place to get your sweat on!
