Life Storage - Baton Rouge

I rented this storage for my daughter when the pandemic began and we ended up keeping longer than expected. We had a couple of asks upon moving out and Jessica at the Harding location made it all so easy for us. While everything had been so busy and hectic with a college move-in, it was refreshing to experience Jessica!

I called in Just for a quote and Spoke to Jessica she was amazing and very informative her humor and sunny demeanor actually brightened up my day although I didn't go with Life storage for my needs I have and will tell everyone about my experience Thank you all for such great customer service its truly rare these days.

Let me start by acknowledging anyone who has lost their belongings in the recent fire on March 31, 2020 at Life Storage, located at Harding Blvd and Plank Road in Baton Rouge, La. My family was impacted as well and we empathize with you all. No clear explanation of what happened has been provided to my family, only that all of our belongings were lost in the fire.nnOur experience in dealing with Life Storage has been nothing short of a headache. Other than one exceptional young woman, Briana, who directed me to whom I should speak with, there were no other interactions that extended proper customer service practices. I was directed to speak with Stephanie LeBlanc, the alleged Manager, who was very curt from the start of our exchange. What information she did provide was vague and, when asked for more clarity, she became defensive, ultimately disconnecting the call. Prior to Stephanie terminating the call, I asked for her supervisor’s contact. Stephanie provided the name “Craig” but refused to provide a full name so that I could contact him directly, acclaiming “You don’t need it!”nnMy husband and I later spoke with Mark Stuffman, Area Manager of the facility we utilized, who was familiar with Stephanie and the matter we were facing as a family. When confronted with Stephanie’s lack of professionalism and poor customer service, Mark continuously diverted to a matter that had already been resolved and did not seem too interested in addressing the feedback given regarding his employee.nnSuch an experience spites the fact that my family has been loyal, on-time paying customers for years who have held as many as three units with the facility at once for a period of time. The provided insurance option, which we paid for monthly, was sub par and provided little relief, considering all that was lost. In addition to what we have lost, the treatment thereafter was discouraging and disheartening. I strongly encourage anyone considering Life Storage Solutions to exhaust all other options before choosing to store your things there and for Mark to implement a performance review of Stephanie LeBlanc. Mark, please be mindful of the people representing the brand and your stores.
