Sushi Gen is one of my favorite restaurants in Shreveport. They serve Japanese dishes here that are comparable to spots in Little Tokyo Town in Los Angeles. Be aware that it gets rather busy at times in Sushi Gen - it's especially busy around high school prom season, because it's a popular date restaurant - so sometimes the staff get a bit overwhelmed and they might miss something. But I've never had a problem that they couldn't make right. So if you' enjoy sushi, Japanese and Korean with a little fusion, and an overall pleasant experience, you're missing out if you don't go to Sushi Gen.
Nothing but love for sushi gen! It is my go to spot for lunch and they are great every time. The staff is always super sweet and the place is always clean!
Used to be crazy about this place until now.First- our to go order was over 30 mins late, lettuce was brown in the salad and we were given several expired soy sauce packets with our to go order.nConsidering two of the packets were consumed, management was notified about the expired products and they acted liked like they really didn’t care or apologized for it.
Peaceful and my absolute favorite place for sushi in SBC— fresh and delicious ingredients all around. Will always come back cause they never disappoint.
Hibachi grill was okay. Not a big sushi fan anyway. It is definitely a youth hangout/eatery on Friday night. Prices went along with other similar restaurants around that I have been to with food quality that did not match.
