Love to fish in the park
Though I did not explore the park for its fishing or boating, I did walk around on the trail path going into the lake. It was a very nice area for the most part and looked well maintained, better than most of the park trails/paths I have been on. The area was very pretty and full of a lot of wildlife.nOnly issues were the quality of benches/tables (very old wood), cigarette butts and bottle caps in the parking lot, and towards the end of the trail it got a bit woody and narrow. No major issues I could tell :).nI didn't get a close look, but I did also see a pretty colorful and decent sized playground on the other side.
If you're looking for privacy and a calm quiet Park Richard Fleming is for you but if you're looking for convenience to get picnic supplies nearby I would keep looking somewhere
Great plenty of fish located. But not biting.
Great place to relax and fish. I always have a good time when I go there. It feels like pond fishing although the water feeds the lake
