I would consider moving to Shreveport just to have this place up the street. If you're looking for anything than a homey, classic roadside southern diner vibe, drive on. Otherwise, do stop in for a perfectly affordable, vintage greasy spoon experience. It's sure to be a regular stop for us, at least, whenever we're in town from now on.

That old times favorite you didn't know was missing from your life til you experience it. Absolute, hands down a must try for breakfast and lunch. Real home cooking without the prep or clean up. And prices are spot on. Highly recommend.

Was really great! We even close down the place... They both enjoyed a daily special and decided to talk until 30 minutes past their closing time... The staff was incredibly courteous and obviously very patient ud83dude05.nn********I would highly recommend the dark meat fried chicken on Wednesday plus the mac and cheese. ********

This cozy little hole in the wall diner is outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Truly, greeted and served quickly, proficiently, and with a smile. Our food was exactly as ordered.nnThe breakfast was very generously sized and super affordably priced. Two big(!) breakfast plates cost me $15! I'd pay that for a single plate at most other similar diners, easily.nnIt was also super convenient to the LSUS hospital (it's basically next door). Parking out front was easy to get in and out of. I'd definitely recommend to a friend and I'll come back if I'm in the area.

Arrived mid-morning and had the place to ourselves. Friendly, efficient service and delicious food. I had an omelet that was stuffed with lots of wonderful sausage, onions, peppers, and cheese. DELICIOUS! My husband's pancakes were cooked to perfection and served with Down Home sausage. A very enjoyable experience. Their safety protocols made us feel comfortable.
