Hedges Family Estate

The building and grounds are absolutely stunning. The wine was good but the experience was very disappointing. The staff, although friendly, overall felt rushed and more importantly failed to market or explain any of their wines. For example, I was given their “LHC”. No explanation or story for the wine at all. Also wine tastings are only complimentary if you become members of their wine club. Just ridiculous. No matter how many bottles I buy, it’s insane to not just waive the $20 pp fee. I was willing to buy some bottles but this knowledge made me just want to leave and never visit again

We love going to the Hedges Estate while in the Red Mountain area. They have lovely wines at a great price point. They have a great story and its great that they are also environmentally conscious with their bio dynamic wines and vineyards. We attended a winemaker dinner here and it was very nice. They were very accommodating with the menu and the wines they paired with the food. They gave us A+ treatment while we were there and gave us a wonderful tour too. I would definitely recommend a stop while you are in town.

This may be the most spectacular winery in Washington. They've put so much effort and attention to detail to the buildings, the vines, and the landscaping you could be forgiven for thinking you'd been transported to the south of France

For me this is the best winery in the Washington State.
