The restaurant was clean, tables had plastic dividers between them, the selection was good, portions were good,, service was good, the best cornbread that I have ever put in my mouth was served before and during the meal, everything that we chose...with no exception...was possibly the best food we've ever had as far as home style Southern is cooking is concerned. We just happened to be in town on business but we will be making the hour drive on day trips to return. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!

Fantastic Southern Food with Great Service!nnGreat: food was absolutely fantastic! Had lunch here with my best bud from college and it did not disappoint. I wasn't too hungry at the time, so I opted for the vegetable plate, but it was as good of southern cooking as it gets. My three veggies were black-eyed peas, green beans, and hasbrown casserole. All were amazing, but the hashbrown casserole was out of this world!! I inhaled it and probably could've eaten about 3 more servings. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive.nnGood: just bummed I didn't try an entree and that they ran out of mac and cheese :(nLooking forward to a return trip very soon!!nnImprove: N/AnnSummary: Real deal southern food that tastes amazing with excellent customer service!!

Rachels- The first time I ate there it was wonderful. The second time was wonderful, too. Since then I have been there several times and I have never been disappointed. It's just a small place in a small strip shopping center, but it is certainly good. On my last visit, out table was in the back near the hallway. I noticed, there on the wall, plaques for employee awards. There were four or five 10-year awards and another four or five 5-year awards. To me, that says it all, especially in the high-turnover restaurant business. Not only is it a compliment to the employees, but it says a lot about the owners, too. Obviously the owners treat their employees well or they would not stick around that long. This, coupled with their great food, earns a solid 5-stars from me.

A traditional meat and two southern restaurant. I love the food and the customer service is always great. I feel like I'm eating with family when I come here.
