Four of us enjoyed a lovely dinner on the patio this week. The food was exceptional and the service, excellent. We have eaten here before and found it to be the best Italian food in the Athens area. I would have given a 5 star rating, but I was very disappointed that none of the employees wore face masks at anytime. We ate on the patio to be near fresh air, only to be served by help without masks.
These people are doing something right. It is a local and family business. Every day they strive to do better and they are really doing it. The food is spectacular and the atmosphere is very pleasant
I have been there twice now in the last week. It is very nice to have a local Italian place that truly cares about service and great quality.nnTried traditional lasagna and it was superb. Ordered what ever the chef / owner wanted to make and received a culinary gift
Food was actually pretty good. I got a appetizer, salad and veal Parmigiano. I really liked that the salad had fresh ingredients which made it stand out.
We came pre-covid back on Valentine's day 2020 and the food was delicious and the owner was engaging and friendly. We didn't get to see him this time (almost a.year to the day later) but we hope he's well. The restaurant is small, clean, and well appointed with tall quiet booths. We ate well both times for very little money.
