Oh lord is this place good. Hands down best bbq in Athens with the nicest people in the world. I got the chopped pork dinner with 2 sides and wow is their food good. The Mac n cheese is out of this world, and the baked beans are next level. Their sauce is incredible, and their pork is so juicy and flavorful. I would come here 100 more times. The owners were so welcoming and kind and made me feel like family.
WOW! I have passed this place hundreds of times through the years, unfortunately, I never stopped. What a tragedy. We ordered the sampler plate. Overall very tasty. Spicy sauce had the right amount of heat, with lots of flavor. Potato salad was super good. Having said all that, the ribs are the best I have had, since moving to Georgia, 27 years ago! Sadly, it was too late to go back that night and get more. However, the following Thursday, I stopped on the way home and picked up a slab of ribs and potato salad. Tiny Mom and Pop place. They are very nice and friendly. It deserves 5 stars and more. I will be a frequent customer.
Iv'e had a sit in a couple of times before the covid arrive . They serve good homemade full meals homemade scratch hash they make it fresh good ribs , chopped pork, with good spice sauce . The family is nice I enjoy there service.
Great experience. I found it by accident actually rode by coming from Clemson. I recognized it from seeing the restaurant on the SEC network. Truly some of the nicest people that you'll ever meet. Good food, service n good people. Stop by and enjoy some good bar b q
