If I could leave not one star, I would. First and foremost the website to make payments was not functional for me for two weeks. My unit was then locked and put up for auction status. After paying for the unit online on 2/12/21 because no one is ever at the office, my unit was still locked. It remained locked for over a week, after multiple calls had been made, and proof of payment was recognized by the company. I left multiple messages on the phone, to no avail. I then had to physically come back to the storage unit facility, call the office and ask again for it to be removed on 2/23/21. I was met with an incredibly asinine excuse that the lady working there was the only one working, and could not handle the workload of over 600 units. She said this herself, along with the fact that our unit should’ve been unlocked on 2/16/21 due to a holiday on the 15th. I am appalled at the lack of customer service, the lack of diligence to maintain a professional atmosphere for the patrons, and for my inconvenience of not having access to my items out of mere negligence. We will be finding another storage facility as soon as possible.

This really is your typical mom and pop business. And the people are nice that I have dealt with. And the prices are the lowest I have seen in this area.

I have rented with Southside on and off for approx. the past 20 yrs. They (Judy and Ed) have always been wonderful and kind. I really appreciate the mail notices especially since i have a tendency to forget! It's more efficient now that Southside has payment options online and email notices. Thank You, Ed and God Bless!

I moved from ATL to the WR area about 2 years ago and since we were combining two households, we needed more space. Looking around from a distance was not easy. I checked out online reviews and when I finally got to the city, I went around to look at locations. A few on Moody had bad reviews of break-ins (so they were out). I found Southside Side Storage to be clean, open but secure, and great rates. The manager was helpful and friendly (not so much as the weekend woman on duty - now she is rude and not very helpful even when asking a simple question - but Ed made up for her rudeness). I am now moving my thing out of the storage facility as we no longer need the extra space but I am pleased that I was able to find a space that was affordable, clean and safe.
