Go ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE for prescriptions. Usually love Walgreens. New to the area. Four prescriptions in two weeks and they totally messed up three of them. The last one was the most unbelieveable. Day after doc visit drove the 30 minutes to pick it up. Walgreens said doc’s office had not called it in. Drove back home and called doc’s office. Doc’s office returned call after researching and verified that not only did Walgreen’s have the prescription, but they had it within an hour of doc visit the previous day, and Walgreens confirmed to doc’s office it was ready for pick up. Day 3, drove the 30 minutes back to Walgreens to pick up. First told they had no prescription. Raised voices and they magically found it. Then they asked for more than $100. We asked if that was with insurance. No, they had not (even though they had filled three other prescriptions in the previous two weeks with insurance). No reason to make this many mistakes and make it so difficult for customers. Thankfully there are other options.

I love this Walgreens location. When CVS tells me a prescription will be ready the next day, Walgreens will fill it within one hour. I really appreciate their help in expediting our prescriptions because it’s usually for one of my sick children. They are so much more friendly and helpful than CVS.

My experiences have been excellent. The pharmacist was willing to answer my questions. Very friendly and courteous.

Looking back over the reviews about them having people’s insurance messed up as well. We just went through that as well. They had our insurance under a company we don’t even use and charging us more on our copays than what our real insurance company says. We finally figured out they had put someone else’s insurance info in the place of ours and somehow charging whoever’s insurance plus our insurance as well and doubled our copay. We only use one insurance company but they had a second company in our file as well. Walgreens has gotten really bad with the people they are hiring that they just don’t care who it effects. We have even had medicine missing from our bottles because they wouldn’t give us the right amount and so we would have to go right back in and make them fix it. And yes it would be pain medicine or something that they could take or sale and make money off the books on. This is not over exaggerating either. This is issues we have dealt with and reported but still the same people doing what they continue to do.nnSo Walgreens used my card without my permission two times. They said because it was saved on express pay they can use it anytime anyone comes in and asks to pick anything up in your name. No that should not be the case. It should be used for express pay only when you do your purchase online in express pay only. After they issued a refund sometime during the night a little after 4am cooperate ran my card for $72.20 again and claimed it was a glitch in the system when the storm came through. Anyway myself and my husband went into speak to Stephanie the so called Manager who thought it was funny and laughed and smirked the whole time we were explaining to her that they actually charged my card again and called us a lier. Finally got in touch with cooperate who thought giving us a $50 gift card for the trouble that we have been through would make up for the $25.20 they caused me to over draw on my account and cause me to not receive the whole refund that was suppose to come to me. I’m not really upset over the $25.20 they took from me and caused me to overdraw as much as I’m upset of the way we was treated by the manager and the fact that they can take anything off your card without your permission and not make it right and it take nearly 2 weeks to get somewhat some of your money back. Please if you use express pay please check your accounts and make sure they are not taking money from you with out your permission. Please take your info off of express pay because if they haven’t yet, they will soon and it will be a headache to get it back.
