A welcoming and caring community committed to offering an open hand and heart to all, regardless of faith, race, gender, lifestyle or age. Dedicated to honest and civilized society. And filled wth music!

Temple Sinai is great! I've never experienced such a warm and friendly Temple before! I very much enjoy the services, especially the music and inspirational talks by Rabbi Kahn. The variety of programming, education and cultural opportunities for families is terrific. Our high school aged daughter attended Sunday school and went on a Temple trip to Washington DC to tour and discuss social action issues with our congressmen. We enjoy participating in the Temple life on every level!

Lovely old reform Synagogue in uptown New Orleans on St. Charles Ave. near Tulane University. Has been modernized on the inside. Beautiful location. Welcoming congregation.

We love Temple Sinai! We were welcomed with open arms right from the beginning. We've made lots of friends here already and enjoy participating in the wide variety of events the Temple offers. I grew up conservative, but feel like the services here still have plenty of Hebrew and offer the traditional items I'm used to. Also the school has been great for our teenage daughter! Finally, the music by Chazzan in every service is just terrific! What a treat! I really love going to services much more than I ever did before.

We often visit Temple Sinai for musical events and occasionally services. The atmosphere is warmer than the building, which is rather stark to my taste; the officers and members are always welcoming, and the services are engaging. I'm certain the Temple's leadership will settle down with the arrival of a new Rabbi. But special notice and kudos for the chazzan, whose infectious spirituality, musicality and breadth of knowledge are ten on a ten scale.
