My Navy son is looking to store some of his possessions. After looking at a number of other storage companies, I found SmartStop. What a revelation y’all. Clean, well organized and with decent rates, this place is good. Tim was polite and helpful without the awful pushy sales pitch of the other places.
Wow! Not only did their prices go up significantly every month, the facility always smelled like smoke and B.O. because they let people live in there. Then they destroyed over a thousand dollars of my book collection with water damage and after months of sending in itemized lists and paperwork the insurance I had paid on for the last 2 years apparently only really covered a fraction of the price on the contract I signed. Don't waste your time or money here.
Tim was absolutely great to talk with. Love this place and hubby will make a reservation for the 1st as that is when we are moving. Makes sense to do it all at the same time. We did buy boxes to do more packing tho. Happy with this place. Thanks!
Tim is extremely helpful and friendly. He willingly helped us carry some heavy furniture to the car. The storage is very clean and well run.
This is my Second Time Renting from this Sarasota, Fl Location in 4 years....I have had nothing but great experiences with Super Friendly Staff(KRISTEN-Manager) every time I either call or simply stop by....Kristen went above and beyond in getting me the Unit that I felt best suited my needs with so much added flexibility. I’m currently in the middle of relocating to a new home while living with family, thus I am at this location 3-4 times a week.....I Sometimes arrive bright and early Morning or late at night, and I have always felt extremely safe and secure while being by myself alone. Lots of video security cameras....Floors are clean..office is clean...rest rooms are usually clean, but not always...They always seem to have hand soap, towels and ample toilet paper.....Ac works great allowing my personal belongings to stay in tip top shape with no way to contact mold like a lot of other Storage Facilities out there/Nearby.....The push carts/floor dollys are complimentary/a plus and not mandatory for the storage to provide to public...I have noticed a lot of storage customers NOT RETURNING THE CARTS BACK TO FRONT DOOR LOCATION AFTER USE...Please Show consideration to others that also need to use cart.....5 out of 5 Stars....ask for Kristen.
