Pasco / Tri-Cities KOA Journey

First of all it’s a KOA so what else can you expect but the best. We have stayed at this RV Park twice now and both times these guys have been great. There is an indoor pool, a nice laundry room, two shower houses, a small gym room, and a clubhouse. The people who work here are friendly and workable. The park and the showers are clean. It can get noisy since it’s by the freeway but besides that this RV Park is one of the best I’ve ever been to. ud83dudc4dud83cudffb

Lots of gravel. We were first directed to spot 42 which is completely visible all around with 2 stop signs around it. Everyone has to drive by it going in or out. It's the most open, visible spot that I saw there. No privacy at all. I asked for another spot and was told that only tent spots were available and that I wouldn't have any utilities (water-electric-sewer). I checked the KOA app and there were plenty of spots for my type of rig. I confronted the clerk with this information and she reluctantly, but immediately, found another spot and the trip was fine. We were now assigned spot 17 which allowed your TV to park in unused spot 18 since 17 isn't too long, Of course, she must have known that spot 17 didn't have a cable hookup, but we don't watch TV. She got me back, right? That night we saw at least 10 open spots in our row. Why was she so intent on putting us in 42? The park is in an OK location with easy access to the highway to explore the area, but it's also a little bit noisy due to highway. Great job lady. I won't be back.

We came in late, could not find the registry box at first as the sign was not easily seen. And then it was $28.76 for a one night tent spot. So we paid it and put down one of the two available sights only to find after that, that it was taken. So we went to one of the open three spots next to it. After putting up our tent and laying down to go to sleep well past eleven o'clock the sprinklers came on. So we moved to a different spot that was open only for the same thing to happen to us around 11:45. Our equipment was soaked, we were soaked and we were done. We packed up our wet stuff and put our poor shivering dog in the car before going back to the small box we had trouble finding in the first place and wrote the manager a short letter asking for our money to be sent to the address we had left them. We will see if they send it and if they don't... Well... My grandmother was so frustrated that she actually cussed in front of us kids. So then we left to go find a hotel... We will probably never go to another KOA because of this horrible experience.nnP.S. They never sent us a refund.

Tina and her staff are absolutely wonderful. The park is exceptionally clean, and quiet given its size. The amenities are great for the price (24 hour laundry, curbside trash pick up, curbside propane fill ups, pool and hot tub, fire pit and BBQ). Park is also conveniently located near major freeways and attractions without the noise and traffic. Also have 2 RV dealerships and parts stores nearby in the event anything goes wrong. Only real complaint is that the parking at some of the sites is small for your truck.

Hospitality was top notch. The only reason for 4 stars is road noise and long term residence in the park. I would not let this deter from a short stay especially with kids in a non pandemic time. We were traveling through and found it perfect for an overnight stop. So clean and convenient.
