We had a great experience the first time we ordered takeout. The second time they told us 20 minutes and it took 45. My dish was so spicy I could barely eat it, and I love really hot food. The staff was friendly. Maybe just an off night for them but I was pretty disappointed.

Come to lunch and dinner here for great food and to be treated like family. This Sarasota location has amazing food and delicious menu items, incredible bartenders and attentive staff. I hope you try out this place and have the great experiences I have. The karaoke on Thursday’s is so involved it makes me want to come back again and again.

This place was fantastic! So much more than just pizza a lot of variety and everything was delicious. The service was outstanding also. Will definitely be back here again!

This experience was such a disappointment. I wanted to order the salmon but they were out of it. How can a restaurant be out salmon when it is included in several of their main entrees? My husband ordered a dish with clams and confirmed with the server that the clams were in the shell, but when the dish came out, the clams were not in the shell but chopped canned clams were sprinkled in it. The server said they had run out of clams when my husband questioned it. He also ordered sweet tea - they were out of that. They did make some and delivered it after we got our meals. We had to ask for garlic bread several times. The salads were watery - the bowls had water in the bottom. And finally, as the server was delivering a meal, he stopped at an empty table and picked up a dirty dish before delivering food to the table beside us. We will not return to this restaurant.

Dimetrios is a great place for lunch. If you ask about the lunch specials then you can get a pretty good deal. They don't bring you a lunch menu, saying that they're out of them. The staff is pleasant. The restrooms are clean and the food is, well, what you expect from Dimetrios. After all it's a chain, but it's good.
