I was a teacher for 15 years so pleasenkeep that in mind throughout this review.nIf your child hates playing guitar but loves the instructor they will practice and go to lessons just to be with the instructor, Coach, teacher – whoever. Megan is the kind of person you look forward to seeing every week and has the ability to infuse others with a passion and appreciation for music.nnAs an instructor Megan is:n-FUN-n-goal oriented - she help me figure out what I want to gain from the lessons then put our effort in that direction.n-FUNn-focused- I am easily distracted but she pulls my focus back to the material that will best help men-FUNn-patient- I do not learn well by listening which sounds strange for someone who loves music so much but I'm a visual and physical learner. She has the patience to explain things 10 times in 10 different ways until I get it and then she makes sure I understand. For instance: asking me to do exercises helping me to connect the concept of note structure within the cords.n-did I mention that these classes weren-FUN at least for me. It's been a while since I've really enjoyed my music but that has changed since taking lessons with Megan.
