Nicklaus Children's Hospital Warehouse

Disappointed . visited the hospital on 05/24/2020 in the amnAt the registration , patients info was not updated.(primary care Physician , he won’t know the child was at the hospital , unaware )nIt has changed a lot since is no longer called “Children’s hospital” . It used to be a place we’re kids did not fell they were in the hospital. I have 3 boys they were coming here since they were few months old.nWhen my son fractured his wrist we came here. The nurses were funny , nice attentive. Drs toke their time explaining what to expect next. They smile . They give a child in a happy way the choice of choosing the color for the cast , making in a pleasant and relaxing experience for him. We came here with my oldest son fracturedntibia and fibula .Very painful. Lock of attention, Dr walk in without a mask or gloves . Nurses wearing mask no gloves. Touching everything bear hands . After realizing they need gloves , the X-ray lady seem lost . Didn’t really know what to do Or do properly . Blaming on equipment mall function. When finally applying the cast ( FULL LEG CAST .they wouldn’t even give us a choice Of color . Is a child . No prescription for crutches. No prescription for a comodín to help seat in the shower ( full leg cast . Waited a long 1 hr before I had to walk to nurses station to ask for discharge papers .to find them all seating and taking about their personal things . Few min after she came in ,with papers didn’t explain a thing. Just sign off . Discharged . ( Get well , feel better , NOTHING!!nWhile walking away we had to called her back , the IV line still on and she wasn’t even planing on removing . No one of the stuff help him get on a wheel chair I got from the front myself . No one a company him out of the hospital. Not the same place , not the same standard of choosing the staff . Nurses are not good . I will like to know someone on charge actually read this and be aware of the experience we had. And called me. Am disappointed was no care just a felling less robots keeping a job .

This hospital is really nice and tidy; the personnel are alright. It's not really walk-in or drop-off friendly but the parking is huge.

Great hospital. Great people who truly cares.
