Loved it. Very pretty. Lots of long Beach to be able to find a spot giving some room between you and others. We did arrive as many morning beach goers were leaving. Large bathrooms, but still long lines. Open shower/rinse station, but we only saw one, which makes it difficult to maintain some distance between people because, of course, even though there is signage everywhere, you can assume you also will see fewer people wearing masks than you can count on one hand...including those that scoff seeing someone who does. Aside from that, beautiful area, very pricey parking fee ($5 per hour flat). Had some chop our day, which added some nice breaks to body ride. Pretty mangroves around. Lots of beautiful shells. Pretty clear, clean water for swimming.

Beautiful large beach with shells. So much beach to walk and explore. Even on busy beach days able to find a quiet area to be on your own. Paid parking by the hour, get there early on busy days. 1/4 mile walk over bridges and walkways to get to beach. Big bathroom area. Loved all the space during spring break.

Definitely one of my favorite beaches. Plenty of parking spaces here. It's $5 an hour. White sandy beach with shells and shell fragments everywhere. There's usually a decent breeze blowing so that keeps it cool. Plenty of beach for everyone and hasn't overcrowded when I've been. A bit of a walk from parking to beach if you are hauling umbrellas and chairs. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been going to this beach for over 20 years. Out kids grew up spending weekend trips out here. There is more parking here than at other beaches on the islands. The beach itself is expansive and clean with plenty of the famous Sanibel seashells.

Nice clean beach with the most parking. Lots of shells to comb through if you like shell collecting. The parking lot fills up quick but there is reasonable turnover so if you wait you are likely to find a spot. $5 per hour parking encourages the turnover as well as it adds to the sunburn. Waters are clean and crowd is spread out so you can get a good spot for yourself.
