Very peaceful and quiet. Sites are large and clean. The campground is at the end of a long dirt road. They say 2 miles but it seems much longer. Passed a very nice picnic area and boat ramp. The bathrooms are well maintained and very clean. There are 4 ADA / Handicapped campsites that are large concrete pads with concrete walkways to the bathrooms and showers. Park Ranger was very polite and helpful. Gave this park only 4 stars because they only have water and electricity at the sites. No sewer so there is an extra step of using the dump station. Also the very long dirt/sand roadway to access the park. I fully understand leaving everything as natural as possible but if not blacktop they could still put gravel or some other hard surface to make a smoother ride. On another positive note, the entire facility has a very private feel. Lots of nature. It's well worth the travel to experience the Old Florida.

Spent several nights here enjoying the peace and quiet until we had to evacuate for hurricane, rangers were friendly and informative, park is beautiful as well.

Pleasantly surprised. All the sites have tons of privacy and electric + water hookups. Since it's primarily an RV site, the showers and bathrooms are all yours! Tent camping is easy here and while you could fit 3 cars, their rules states 2 cars, 2 tents and 8 people max (better bring big tents!).nnThere are 2 trails and a large picnic plus boat ramp sites. Going for a run from campsite to entrance and back is just over 4 miles. Every site has a fire ring and grill cover but we noticed some sites have a standing grill instead. The electric also has 15A standard plug so you can charge your electronics if you're camping.nnUnusually high tick activity in July so spray yourself, wear protective clothing and a hat. Everyone was friendly and its just off the highway but you feel very secluded. You're also just 15m away from St. Augustine Beach.

Great staye Park, its a little hidden gem. A huge plus is its 30 mins from Historic St. Augustine.
