We have been following Linden's trajectory for over 25 years. Jim Law and his partners are serious winemakers who are realizing the full potential of the Virginia terroir. Their wines have been evolving and improving continually. Few places on the East Coast can claim world class status. Linden is one of these places. The beautiful locale adds to the wonderful experience of a visit and the wines are simply among the best in this part of the country (and not only). Serious, committed, and unrelentingly pursuing the highest quality in what they do.nA detailed review would take a lot of space. In one word: Superb!

The wines here are the some of the best in Virginia. A lot of the reviews mention the poor hospitality, but I beg to differ. You cannot stay past the tasting unless you are a member, but they are very up front about this on their website. Now with COVID-19, they also require you to make reservations for tastings. There are standing only barrels for up to two people for wine flights with reservations. My friend and I were treated very kindly by the staff and even purchased two bottles to take home. This is a must visit winery if you love amazing wines and want a quieter experience. I recommend Linden as a first stop if you plan to have a wine day in Fauquier County. Again, make sure you have a reservation!

The premier wines in Virginia. Come for the quiet atmosphere and let your senses be opened to the wines. This isn’t the place for groups, but rather for serious œnophiles who enjoy the slower pace of Fauquier County. A must visit!

The vineyard is beautiful and the views from the tasting room are wonderful. If you have a chance, take a tour of the winery and vineyard with Caitlyn. She's informative and explains the wine-making process in great detail. We were also able to walk among the vines and take some cool pictures. A very memorable experience. I plan on returning soon!

Kathleen was so incredibly rude to our group as we arrived that we didn’t stay to even drink their mediocre wine. We had hoped to have an enjoyable tasting but she made it to where we will never return and will alert everyone we know not to bother to stop here or purchase their wine. I hope the owners of Linden will take care of their staff problem, starting with Kathleen.
