Scheduled service to have second stage propane regulator tested. Technician showed up without proper equipment to test it but said he wouldn’t charge and scheduled another appointment. Received call on day of second appointment saying they wouldn’t be sending a technician because if the regulator needs to be fixed they don’t do that work but that I would be charged a $150 service fee for the diagnostics that was never performed. Office staff didn’t believe me and was very rude. Two days off from work, $150 bill, trip to small claims court in my future, and nothing to show for it!

I called RMC to look at my generator, I supplied the tech manual, wiring diagram and schematics for them to use. The generator isn't running properly and shuts off after a few seconds, this happens consistently. The technician came out and look at it and then left. I had to call the office to find out what the technician found out on the generator. Well, after about $125 I was told by the office staff the technician said I should call Caterpillar near Mechanicsville as they work on Olympian Generators. Unbelievable, I asked when I made the appointment if they worked on Olympian and I was told yes. So, not only is the generator not fixed but now i have to call another company, make an appointment, and then pay for another technician to come out again. Stick to HVAC RMC because generators don't seem to be your thing.

Received a bill for $681.75 for exching a defective circuit board under warranty.

Encourage had to come back multiple times because the original technicians could not properly fix the problem. As a result I was charged excessively for parts and labor. I.have sent them payments as I am able, however funds are limited due to disability. I’ve tried to get them to work with me and got nowhere. I have now received a court summons. If they would not have gouged the bill in the beginning and worked with my, it would have not escalated to this point. Customer service has been not friendly to work with. I’ve asked to speak to the owner and never received a call. If they had fixed it correctly the first time it would not have escalated to this. Apparently not all of the technicians are as skilled as others.

RMC is one of the most professional and responsive companies I have ever worked with. It's been a long time since I've seen the owner respond, over a weekend, to repair a piece of equipment. It also mattered that the residence is owned by a Senior Citizen and we were without air conditioning. I highly recommend this company because of the quality of service and its work ethic.
