InTown Suites Extended Stay Newport News VA - City Center

I wish I could say this was a good place. The pricing was cheap, the wifi was good, the staff was attentive. But that's about all the good. I got locked out of my room almost 5 times in the week I was there. The water was turned off completely for an entire day with no warning. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This place needs a overhaul badly. Staff is rude and housekeeping is non existent. Try Extended Stay America near the mall or across the street.

I travel a lot for work and in all my years of travel I had never stayed in any of these facilities. Last year the company I contracted with end up putting me in this place. From day one this place was a nightmare. The room was not clean especially the bathroom. When I approached the people working at the front desk they seemed to care less. I had to go to the store and purchase cleaning items to clean the room myself. I paid for an extra week in case I didn't find a new place by the end of the two weeks the company had paid for. To my luck I found a place and decided to move. I requested for a refund since I was moving out on the first day of the week that I had paid for but they told me that I couldn't get one so I would have to stay for another week. I couldn't stay an extra hour in this place, so I chose to leave. I emailed the customer service multiple times and when they decided to reply they said that they were not going to give me a refund. I'm sure some people have had good experience staying in this facility, but I had the worst. There are so many other places to stay away from home and this place ranks as one of the worst. I would rather sleep in my car before I can spend a single dime in any one of their facilities. They seem to forget that it's the customers like you and I who are keeping them in business. If you can't treat your customers right, then you don't deserve they money for you treble service. This place should be your last option after your last option. Choose well and stay comfortable.

Clean and quiet.

The only reason I give a 2 star is that the staff is friendly here, otherwise it's a 1 star. It is absolutely filthy here don't even bother using your AC unit unless you want effects of mold on your health, woke up stuff and feeling sick every morning with headache untill I found the source. Have photos so don't worry. And after a huge deep cleaning I don't feel like I need a shower every 5 minutes anymore.
