Strenuous hike but amazing views. The rock scramble was exciting. Lunch on the summit was a super experience. A bit crowded in the summer, I would recommend going early. Totally worth putting in the effort!
Gorgeous and thrilling hike. Do it on a weekday if you can. It's only not 5 stars because the parks service has determined that they wanted to extend the final leg of the hike by an unnecessary mile and a half, most of which is uphill when it used to just empty out in the parking lot.nnExactly what you want at the end of a 10 mile climb up and down, an added on mile and a half up hill.
