This is an amazing place to hike and go horseback riding. Several water holes to go swimming with your horse, great for fishing. Great place all around.nnOnce you get to the entrance, you should proceed all the way until the end where there is a small parking area for cars. The main entrance parking is for horse trailers. The Trail head begins almost right at the car parking area.

Amazing experience if you go early in the morning. Walking in the trail by the stream is awesome.

Hidden gem in Virginia. Very limited parking- the state and NPS need to expand the access options for this one since it's a great feeder route for the AT resupply. Generally flat segments, difficult crossings in spring and following rains. Several bears romping about, so mind the usual back country rules relating to food and cooking. Beautiful falls and fishing.
