**Work Travelers or People Traveling W/ Work Friends Beware**nnI’m not big into writing reviews but I think one is deserved here. Let’s start with the good first. It’s a small and quiet place, with enough room between each camper for our pups to play.nnNow the downside of everything. There is no internet, no cable, no washer/dryers, the are bathrooms but they’re only supposed to be for emergencies and she’ll have to open them for you each time to use them (due to COVID, so not the owners fault), it’s very close to the highway so the cars passing by can wake you up. The real reason I am giving this only two stars is because we had to leave early. We are from Florida, 12 hours away, my husband works with the Union so he travels for work. Since we are so far from home, we do travel with work friends and had one of my husbands friends staying with us to save on money. The owner knew about the friend staying with us because my husband told her when he got there the first night (I came a week later). Well, after I came up I asked her about how to get into the bathrooms in case we or our friend did have to use one, she told us to just have him let her know if he needed it, and she was fine with it and left. She came back about an hour later telling us we would have to leave because we have another person staying staying with us. I asked if it would be possible to just stay for the rest of the month since we already prepaid, and give us time to find a different campground. She told us we had to leave by the next day. She said the only way for him/us to be able to stay was that he would have to rent out his own spot (his doesn’t even have a camper) for $625/month. She claims it is a single family establishment and only immediate family is allowed to stay at each camper. I know of at least two campers there with two guys in each and I know they’re not related.nnShe did give us a refund and that’s the only reason I gave them the extra star. So if you travel for work and/or travel with work friends in the same camper, it would be best to just find another campground. It’s was ridiculous of her to make us leave so quick without a lot of warning or time to find a new spot. I won’t recommend this place to anyone who travels for work.

Ok. Nothing much here. No TV. No laundry or garbage. Does have full hookups. 10 minutes or so to South Boston.nnThis update 5-7-2020nMiss Dot was contacted by us approx. 2 weeks ago to reserve a spot for a job my husband is doing in the area. She would not let us reserve a spot at that time. We were told she had 7 openings at that time, and told us to call her when we were on our way. We just did and she has nothing available-NOTHING . We have stayed there before and have brought other workers with us. So disappointed in her actions. I will not recommend this place to anyone from now on.
