This is a quiet little trail I found by accident. Nice little parking lot, a paved trail that zigzags down into the woods, but basically ends in a cul-de-sac not far from the railroad bridge. There's a trail that goes on beyond that, but it actually looks more like bushwhacking. There's also a side trail that goes down toward the river and that's very pretty. There's a bridge down there by a small branch of the river that flows through some rapids. Very nice place for some quiet hiking.
Nice place for a day trip. Too bad Ettric has the reputation it has, as the park is really nice and maintained pretty well by Chesterfield County
Not good for biking. Short back and forth trips, maybe. Appears to have been designed for walking/jogging.nnIt is quiet. Ends abruptly. Smooth surface. Nice wooded land (check for ticks afterwards). Good for kid biking, but not cycling and not really challenging for adults other than short uphills. The hairpin design is nice with solid wood bridges.nnIll come back, for the kids - but not my first choice.

Waste of time. A .3 mile trail that leads to a dead end and a short trail through the woods to the river that you hardly notice because it is overgrown and no signage.
