A great short hike that our young kids loved.
A good place to spend an hour. Don't linger anywhere or the mosquitos will get you. Not a lot of interesting rocks on this trail, but there are plants and animals in abundance. The trail could use some maintenance, especially when it enters the scrub oak. I saw 4 deer along the South side of the loop. There are actually four trailheads which access the park. Nice place for kids.
Nice wildflowers and paths to follow. took my dog on a walk there and we had sufficient ground to explore wandering up the hills. No place to sit, no grassy area.
This more of a trail head than a park. The trail has a few loops and is probably no more than a few miles total. There are a few shaded areas, which makes it more tolerable in the summer. It does not connect to any other trails outside the neighborhood. It is a great place to walk the dogs.
