What tainted my view of the school was some of the staff. I had work business there so I was waiting on my appointment. Two children approached me a were asking me questions, this didn't bother me in the slightest. What offended me was when staff approached the children and were rude to them. Now if they thought they were doing me a favor I Did Not appreciate it. Same time I was noticing other staff going about their business with a don't f*** with me attitude.nI was sad that these children have to put up with some staff's sh** attitude. That cannot be beneficial to these kids.
I was here for a year that help out i was in and out of a place called Brattleboro retreat i was there 5 times and the 6 time i came. And then i heard about Devereux. They make you do chores. And you get to go off campus and go to the movies and to the pool. But sometimes the staff will pick favorites. And the made me the young man i am now. Next year I'm going to a tech program for anatomy. And i Pursuing my dreams if I wouldn't have herd about Devereux i would be i the retreat for whole life. Thank you Devereux for being the light at the end of the tunnel.
