Great trail for hiking or biking. Super smooth and fun to ride. You have about a mile of pretty steep fire road before you hit the single track but then it's very nice and super pretty. Didn't get all the way to the top but I've heard going down the other side is great as well. Definitely go check it out.

The trailhead itself is nothing special. No facilities and limited parking. The only parking is along the residential street. There is no parking lot. The trail is pretty good, although the first couple of miles is, while not well maintained, drivable by four wheel drive vehicles, which means that if you are hiking or biking, you may be passed by vehicles, which result in plenty of dust, and forces you to step off the road. There are also several private property lots along the way that you need to be mindful of so as not to trespass. Some are well posted and signed, others are not.

I live here, so of course it gets five stars.. but it's very okay if you never visit.

We've built the trail up so ots not just the road now! Its a lot of work but should be mostly finished!

This is a wide trail, traveled by recreational and 4x4 vehicles. It requires a bit of a lift to make it to the north canyon trail head father up the trail. There is beautiful creeks and meadows on both sides but most of it is fenced, private property. Its often quiet and fairly secluded. Tons of shade and nearby streams make this an easy cool hike in the summer for families. Just keep an eye out for vehicles if hiking with children/animals.
