I would like to start off by saying thank you to the staff of Sotto Mare who made the other evening one of the best dinning experiences I have ever had in my life. My cheeks were hurting when I left from how much I smiled and laughed during the entire meal. I had no idea what I was walking into - literally dragged by a friend that said we just had to eat here. I didn't check any reviews and had no idea what they even served. But I'll tell you what, when ever I visit San Fran going forward I will always have dinner here guaranteed.
The food was a 3-star experience, although the pesto alfredo sauce was really very good. The fourth star here comes in support of a wonderful server this evening, Adam.
Good wine and a great place to sit out on a warm summer evening.nFamily friendly, italian food - gnocchi, pizza, veal, and pasta. $20 or so a plate.
The best restaurant in town! The food was amazing, the service was great and I can't wait get back there!
Pizza tasted horrible and gave me really bad indigestion. The Emiliana Pizza sounded good on the menu but ended up being 95% cheese and the cheese was rubbery. Never going back here.
