Reviews
The bbq is EXCELLENT here! Everyone enjoyed everything that we got! Highly recommend!
I had to LOL at the 5 star reviews. Our experience was different. We ordered $26 worth of food and got the kids rib platter, the 1/2 pound Westerner sandwich and the three sliders deal. We requested the vinegar sauce on the sandwich and sliders. We also ordered the mac and cheese. What we got was pure mediocrity. We all commented on how little flavor all them meats had. There was no noticeable smoke flavor from anything. The meat was mostly dry because ... well, no sauce! None, lol! They also forgot our drinks. The bread was almost inedible. No flavor at all. Zero. So we knew going to a chain BBQ place in a mall was taking a big chance. We learned our lesson. I'm glad others had a decent experience. Good luck! - Can I also say that having a picture of corn bread on the main web page and then not having it on the menu is hilarious.
This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had, and some of it was THE best I've ever had. I tried the 3 meat combo with pork ribs, a chicken leg quarter, and sliced beef brisket, with mac 'n' cheese and onion tangles (soon to be replaced with onion petals) for sides. My husband had the 3 meat combo with pork ribs, sliced beef brisket, and pulled pork, with mac 'n' cheese and BBQ beans for sides. We also tried the chicken wings, and got a sample of the polish and jalapeno cheddar sausages.nnThe Best: The sliced beef brisket gets wrapped in butcher paper and rests for at least 6 hours, which is evident in the juiciness - absolutely the best brisket I've ever had. The crispy skin on the chicken wings was bonkers good; I've never been able to get crisp skin on my smoked wings like that. The sausages are house made; the flavor is incredible, and have that perfect snap. My husband thought the pulled pork was the best he'd ever had; he's a man of few words, so there's not much beyond that. The sauces are all made in house, and each lends its own note to the meat you're pairing them with; the pepper vinegar is crazy delicious! Portions are generous, expect to take home leftovers.nnThe Good: The ribs are meaty and juicy, and still have a bit of a firm chew to it that we loved. The chicken leg quarter is tender and falls right off the bone. The mac 'n' cheese is creamy and delicious. The BBQ beans are simple, and the flavor is spot-on.nnThe Bad: Umm, too many choices? Too much food? Great prices make it difficult to stop adding to your order? I will say, that if you are a dry rub person, this might be the bad for you. John uses no seasonings on his meat, allowing the smoke to speak for itself. As a girl who loves a good dry rub, I would have loved some seasoning, but I'll respect what the man is doing in his own house. :)nnThe Ugly: Just the aftermath of our faces and hands covered in BBQ sauce!nnBut seriously, this is one of my new favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is fun, and the industrial decor is well done. As good as the food is, the best thing about the experience had to be talking to the Pitmaster and owner, John. He is willing to talk about his processes, and is obviously passionate about his craft. Overall, an absolute 5 star experience.
The food was good a 7, price was fine but there cleanliness was a 2. Lots of cleaning to be done every place you looked.
Bbq was the best I have eaten in town ! Service was fast and both workers were very friendly! Will be back again soon !
