I love a classic milk tea and they certainly make that here. Their workers were very down to business with keeping their stations clean- as a former food service worker I've appreciated that in shops pre-covid and only grown fonder of it since.nnThis place is worth a try for the bubble waffles alone! And the dipping options are so good.

I'm glad they finally have one in Oregon now. The Honey Lemon tea here is amazing! You can definitely taste the tea. The drink itself is great (don't need to make it sweet). The milk tea with taro ball is also a great drink to try out. Their bubble waffle is nice and flavorful. It's not too dense and has a nice chewiness to it.

Happy Lemon has the best bubble waffles in the Seattle/Portland area. Who doesn't know that already! Please expect to wait because the bubble waffles are made to order and this one location is smaller than the other locations in WA. The ones I've been to in WA usually have an average wait time of 30-40 mins during peak hours for bubble waffles and people would still wait for it. That's how good they are. And Happy Lemon is franchise, their quality is very consistent.nnJust an FYI, bubble waffle is a quintessential Hong Kong street snack (I was born & raised there). A truly excellent bubble waffle should have a crisp exterior surrounding a pocket of air, and then a moist, dense, soft, chewy lower half. So, Happy Lemon's bubble waffles are NOT under-cooked. Please do not expect it to be the same as the American waffles. And you are supposed to eat it right away.nnOther thing I really like is their milk tea with taro balls. The milk tea is rich and creamy, and the taro balls are so soft and chewy.

This place is superb and roomy, the menu was yummy and the prices were very affordable. quickly, productive service and very amiable staff. Recommended.

Not sure why, but this Happy Lemon was not the same experience my wife and I enjoyed in San Diego. The salted cheese drinks we got were rather bland and flavorless. We are more than happy to make another go of it and next time we'll make sure to ask the employees what the difference may have been. Presentation was good, place was clean but tight, and the employees seemed a bit preoccupied with other things. Can't wait to try again, actually, and maybe go for the waffle.
