Love the model train running around the restaurant! I'm really glad that we made the time to stop and enjoy this place!
Always a go to when visiting Baker city. Enjoy the trains up above as well as the food. Very kid friendly. Have been visiting since I was a very young child myself. (I'm 31) I may live 8 hrs away...but whenever I visit, it's a go to place for breakfast for me.
We ordered two kids breakfast, the cinnamon French toast and the pineapple bacon omelet. It took 45 min to get our food. The cinnamon roll for the French toast tasted like simmering you'd get out of a plastic wrapper at a store. The bread for the toast tasted like cardboard and I'm not sure if my scrambled eggs were made of eggs or some egg substitute. The waitress was nice. We're a little disappointed that our experience didn't match the reviews.
I've always had a great experience in this place. The service is great, I feel welcomed every time we go in. The food is consistent and comes out fresh, hot and in a timely matter...great place to take the whole family.
The junction is more than just an off the highway diner; it is a local institution where locals gather, travelers can diner and recuperate while they plan their ongoing journey, and all are treated to good food and great service.nnThe little railroad inside is good entertainment for kids or scale railroad aficionados. The food is outstanding, served hot and with little delay. The biscuits and gravy alone are worth any trip to this place, but the other fare is most excellent. You won't regret dining here.
