Very solid hiking location, we started at the bottom of the road (is gated for winter) and hiked on up. Would recommend a backpack to bring snowshoes as we encountered snow about half way up to the trail head (6-10 inch deep) . Some parts of the road were icy so tracks would be good too. The trailhead and subsequent trail is so beautiful a this time of year, but it was hard to find the actual trail path as all the markers are covered in snow.

We were fortunate to visit this amazing place when we were the only visitors there. Peaceful, beautiful, quiet & the lady host was wonderful. Hope to visit again soon.

This was the best hike to date!!! The trail was soft to the step, everything was green and lush. This was an easy hike for all ages! Not a workout if that’s what your looking for but a must see! So ethereal!
