Beautiful setting but limited hiking opportunities. Great for a day relaxing near the water.

We'd planned to visit multiple beaches around Flathead Lake today, but after happening upon this gem at just stop #2, we abandoned our plans and spent a full 5 hours here. The rocks were smooth and beautiful, the views were amazing, it was very uncrowded, there is a bathroom on site, and the walk from the lot to the shore is a super easy one.

Beautiful spot, not overly crowded! Picnic tables in the shade. Restrooms with running water. Dog friendly.

Very quiet beach set in anay. There is a boat ramp. Most of the bay is a no-wake zone. We seen many SUP boarders! A few boats slowly cruise around. I gave 4 stars because the driveway as you get off hwy 35 is so rough! You practically need to slam on your breaks as you coast downhill over many many potholes. . At 10 mph , your car still gets jostled. Once you get down the hill, a parking area is very near. The restrooms are very clean! The Flathead Lake is very clear!! A few picnic tables. Not too crowded at all! I like this area!!

Very beautiful park but it's very frustrating that the entire lake is private property. It's beautiful but you can't find many places to access it. There's only 1 park that lets you fish with a Montana fishing license.nYou can't expect non-residents to pay 200 bucks apiece to catch a fish.nSince when did nature become pay to use?
