Great ride down to Sourdough.
I do the same thing with my kids. Do a shuttle and start at the top.
Very nice trail for biking!
So it makes me feel like a total cheater, but we sometimes drive to this trailhead and then bike down to the sourdough trailhead. 10 miles of downhill, almost no pedaling required. No real exercise, but my kids (8&10) love it. If we weren't cheating we wouldn't get nearly as far. And it is a beautiful trip.nnAlternatively 5-miles down you can go uphill to Mystic Lake before continuing down to the bottom. So you get approximately 15 miles of downhill with 5 miles uphill.
