Nearly 3 months ago, I suffered a debilitating bout of lower back pain which had refused to clear up and had forced me to take paracetamol for the first time in over 5 years.nnFollowing a recommendation to try the therapies offered by Mariette, I turned up for my first session more in hope than expectation. About an hour and a half later, I left feeling much more optimistic and more comfortable. Mariette has many techniques available to her which were new to me. I’d not even come across their names! The first very noticeable improvement came from use of the McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release technique which Mariette deployed on my replacement hip scar.nnThe results on this area - even on the first visit - was astonishing. While the area had never been painful, it did feel quite unpleasant to press on lie on. Not now! It actually feels, “ironed out” and completely comfortable. In addition to further treatment on this fairly long established scar, Mariette has worked some kind of wonderful blend of Chinese Massage (Tuina) and coMra Therapy to give me lasting relief from my lower back pain. The Tuina massage is fabulous and leaves you feeling light and completely relaxed. Mariette has also given me tips to follow up each session, all of which have proved to be beneficial.nnI am now about to learn how to use the home-based coMra Palm device and I feel confident that this will maintain the progress made by Mariette. I’m really very grateful to have found Mariette and to have been open-minded enough to try something “alternative”.
