This place is beautiful but the mosquitos are incessant and is reason for 3 stars. Bug repellent didn’t work. Wearing extra layers helped a bit. Our second night we gathered our things from the car and bolted into the tent with no fire or stargazing. But the lake is beautiful and offers great views. Very convenient from Yellowstone West Entrance.

Come early this place is busy everybody seems to want to stay here it's nice but it is crowded 6 slots and you're pretty much built on top of each other

This year this will be a fee'd campground but beautiful and will be well taken care of by myself. Look forward to seeing everyone this summer ud83dudc9a

This was an awesome little find that we were told about when trying to find some camp grounds near Yellowstone. Just keep in mind that you need cash to put in these little envelopes that they have, other wise you'll have to drive 20 minutes back to town to get some.
