Moose Creek Flat Campground

Nice open spaces. Fence surrounding park perimeter with gaps for river access. Looks like you could launch small water craft if needed, go fishing, or simply enjoy a day picnicking with your family. Only reason I didn't go with five stars is because the spaces are grouped closely together. There's not much privacy. Bear proof food storage and trash bins on site, though locked when I last visited, Sep 27th.

Bring a water pale (collapsible one preferred). Teach your kids how an old fashion water pump works. Not all spaces have bear proof food storage.

Nice place clean and well kept. Fair amount of road noise though

Perfect location to experience the Gallatin River and share time with old and new friends around a campfire!

Very well maintained USFS campground. During the day the vehicle traffic is busy on the 191Fwy. However, the campground is located on the river.
