Bozeman Trail Campground and RV Park

Spent 4 nights here while visiting friends and skiing at Big Sky. Very convenient, easy access to the highway. Water was off because of freezing morning temps. Offered water when we arrived but we had enough to get us thru. Electric and sewer worked fine. Clean power, good wifi, LP and phone signal (Verizon). Will be back again next year.

Such a friendly place.nClean showers,nclean laundry andnclean camp sites.nThe campgrounds recently changed owners & changed names.nWith this change we were worried the friendly service would also change. But the friendly clean place is still such a wonderful place to stay.nThey have always tried to make our reservations work & if there was no room they helped by suggesting other accommodations nearby.nFor us, they will always be our #1 choice when visiting Bozeman.

I have a feeling this is under new management, now called Bozeman Trail Campground. Found this place, called Sunrise Camping on over lander looking for a place to just pay for a shower, where the last reviewer about 6 months ago said they offered cheap hot showers - not anymore. Asked the attendant and it seemed like she made an on the fly decision about it, stating they were just too busy for that (???). Okayyy, we left asap to search for another place to shower. We had to drive through the site to exit and we noticed it was a small site, densely packed with RV’s. We quickly decided that we would never camp here no matter the circumstances - crowded, zero views, and nothing remarkable about it. We found Bear Campground, 6 min up the road from this place that did offer hot showers ($8.10) little pricey but all we could find on short notice and in direction of our route.

We just left this wonderful camp spot and it was heaven. The camp host escorted us to our camp spot even though we got in late and after dark. The bathrooms were clean every time and the showers were amazing after our day biking and hiking. The place is located between a train track and highway but we just turned on some white noise and it was fine. All the neighbors were friendly and very courteous. We would come back in a heart beat. Two nights was great!

This park was a lovely and convenient place to spend the night traveling through. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, the spots were easy to pull through and the bathrooms and showers were clean. The shower was excellent for it's pressure and ample hot water. The highway and train noise were expected, given it's convenient location and proximity, but it is still noteworthy.
