Nice quiet Campground off the beaten path. Ground is hard for tent stakes and some of the sites are quite small.

June 2019. Free. Fishing is limited from shore. Excellent from boat. Gorgeous views, quiet. Off the beaten path and 20 minutes from Orofino

I grew up around this campground and come back whenever I possibly can! Serene, clean, spacious, wildlife abounds and the lake is really always wonderful with the boat launch and free camping! What else can you ask for? Vaulted toilets, YES! Pack in and pack out your garbage, no water for drinking or showers. Plenty of hiking trails too!

A more rustic campground. No water but there are restrooms. It's free. Took at least 20 min to get to from the main road. Nogarbage cans. You have to carry out anything you bring in. The road in is partially gravel with the last part being about a 15% grade, according to the Corps of Engineers.

I love it. Im usually given a discount cuz .... Well.. Customer's kinda leave... Happy. Very happy. Over and over. Especially a few of the govt.. The few non ugly ones. Ppl in orofino can get kinky.
