Our 6 children attended Prescott Unified Schools. We were grateful for the most part to good teachers and administrators. Parental involvement is important.
No it's not perfect but rumors such as they removed lockers because kids were hiding pot in them is fake. The lockers were breaking down. In my opinion this school system has some caring teachers that get the job done well.
Over the last year new management in the transportation department has greatly improved the bus service: The discipline problem in now a thing of the past, employee moral is up, timeliness is up as is the overall safety.
Mile High Middle is a NASTY school. They literally don't even have lockers because of too many kids hiding pot in them. The discipline system there is a joke. ISS (In School Suspension) is a room where everybody messes around and talks all day. DON'T SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
