From a weight training perspective this place suffers. One mediocre squat rack for an entire gym is an immediate failure in my book. A decent Olympic lifting pad that they don’t allow weights to drop onto, despite this being a near necessity for heavy deadlifts. I left this gym for another.
Very disappointed! Doing a bike ride from Boise. All I needed was a shower after spending over 24 hrs riding a bike. Have a current membership in Boise and pay monthly. Have used my membership from Washington to Illinois. In Ketchum turned away because I was wearing a gaiter mask. Front desk would not listen or acknowledge my needs. Told I needed to leave because it wasn’t a true mask. Requested a mask and nothing was provided that met the standards needed for entry. Returned after riding my bike to the store to purchase the required mask and again turned away because they no longer would let nation wide or Idaho wide membership in. Again all I needed was a shower after riding my bike for 24 hrs. The gal at the front desk would not talk to me because I wore a gaiter then after getting the mask she said I needed to purchase a $20 day pass, basically I was turned away again. This happened Friday 9/11/2020 at 9 am. Very expensive membership monthly that is not being honored or better yet respected by the same state.
Maybe one of the best Ys I've ever seen. Great pool for kids. Helpful staff.
Beautiful YMCA. Climbing area, swimming pool, gym, tons of studios/exercise rooms. The staff are super sweet, especially front desk! Always so welcoming. The waterslide is epic.
Welcoming family friendly environment for all, clean equipment, lots of fun classes to stay active, and many programs for all ages to participate in!!
