Nice people hosted us. Cable TV and WiFi. Level sites with easy access to everything we needed. Good value for the money. Bath rooms were clean.nHost gave us information on Shakespeare ghost town nearby which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great guide took us on a tour and a nice break from interstate driving.
The sites were close but not bad. Getting to the turn in was a little scary looking but the KOA itself was not. Nice place to stay.
Using the KOA app, I reserved a 70' pull-through, so we wouldn't have to unhitch our toad, with 50 amp and full-hookups. We got there the next day and the guy gave us a 50 ft with only water and electric. My husband had the confirmation on his phone but the guy told him it was his fault and he had to take the one we were given. We got to the spot and there were lots of of the longer pull through at the back with no one in them. We were only going to be there one night so we stayed. Weather was terrible. My husband told the guy that we would not be unwitting and not to tell us to move once we had our jacks down.
The grounds are spacious and even have a few cabins sprinkled about. However, upon entering the front office, I don't believe I have ever been treated as if I were an irritant rather than a paying customer. This man was generally nasty in all ways possible.
Ok KOA. Nice folks. Was nice stop over for one night. Great sunset!
