Great spot.nLast time we came from NEB., We stopped in Sterling for a bite to eat.nIt was tough finding something that wasn't just a franchise, Had to drive half way through town.nnNow that we know about this place, we'll just stop here every time.nNot that far off I-70.

Lu is an awesome gal and this restaurant and convenience store stop right below Caliche Hill halfway between Crook and Iliff right off Highway 138 offers down home diner style American fare that will leave you satiated and glad you stopped in! This is one of those places where you go when you crave a really good burger and fries. So glad that we have this eatery so close to Caliche K-12 school! Named after the aforementioned owner Lu and after the Caliche Buffs mascot (the buffaloes), it’s a place I’m always glad to support.
