It's Safeway. Slightly more expensive than necessary, and always lacking one or two thins that you really should be able to expect of a grocery store. What spice aisle doesn't have minced onions? Safeway's spice aisle. Oh, but the clearance selection is decent if you're a thrifty shopper, and the store is clean and inviting.
Nice that they have exotic fruits, esp. lemongrass. I use it a lot in my cooking.
The order and go is great except I wish they would reach out to you when they substitute items. One was OK but the other two were unacceptable substitutions (3 sub's total). Now I'll have to drive the 10 miles back to the store to exchange or return those two. Plus I had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to bring out my order. Kind of defeated the purpose of the order and go process. Oh well, good try
The worst pharmacy experience. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, but they need support. I’ve spent countless hours over the last year waiting for prescription refills, even after calling ahead of time and confirming the prescription was received and would be filled, 6-8 hours in advance.
Don't waste time driving. It is here or they'll get it by tomorrow.
