A Storage Place

As so.eone who used to be married to someone who ran places like this, I'm pretty aware of the ins and outs of them. They can be really difficult to maintain and usually have 2 people staffed, max. That being said, this is a really large facility, and it's maintained as well or better than can be expected by 2 people. The staff are kind and helpful, and keep the place very clean. And the climate controlled units really are effective, even with the crazy weather we experienced.nI'm giving this place a middle ground rating because there were a handful of issues with maintenance of the elevators and the supplied hand trucks. After what was a grueling 21 hour drive up from Phx in a massive uhaul, I only managed to break any of my property due to malfunctioning equipment at the storage place, and it was a bummer. The elevator doors close too quickly and once they do, no amount of coaxing will keep them open for more than 3 seconds. They broke an expensive piece of artwork of mine. Also, there just isn't a way to comfortably transport your stuff from truck to unit or back with carts that only have 3 wheels. It seems that half of their hand trucks are missing a wheel. I had an entire load spill out on the road because there were only 3 wheeled carts in the building. Ever try to keep a bunch of beads from rolling downhill? Heh. So you know.. good clean place, but mind the elevators and bring your own hand truck.

Great place and great people. Clean and secure.nThey even allowed me to use their moving truck when I moved in and switch units sizes easily as my needs changed. I highly recommend A Storage Place!

The staff was extremely horrible, very disrespectful wouldn’t let us out the gate after getting stuff out of our unit due to a remaining balance of 80 dollars. They had 3 staff members standing around our vehicle We where very compliant and payed them and they still wouldn’t let us leave, proceeded to say that they where not going to let us leave AFTER PAYMENT WAS MADE and called the police saying we threatened to run them over when that NEVER HAPPENED it was all on video, they then LIED and told the police that they didn’t know who my father was when they ask you who all you would like to have access to the unit! It was myself my mom and my father!!!! Very unprofessional!!!! Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!! DEFINITELY NOT A WAY TO CONDUCT A BUSINESS!!

The only place in the area with availability; it was fast & easy to sign up and the unit is clean and convenient.

Was able to purchase unit online, call the office to confirm it in 10mins and then was able to start getting my stuff into the unit maybe 20 mins later. Staff was super friendly
